What ingredients do you need for a Spicy Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap?
- Chicken
- Bacon
- Ranch Dressing
- Chipotle Mayo
- Lettuce
- Tomatoes
- Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- Tortilla
How do you make a Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap?
Begin by warming a large tortilla in the microwave for 15 seconds or my preferred method is in a very lightly greased skillet. By warming the tortilla it makes it much more pliable and easier to wrap.
Spread the chipotle sauce and ranch dressing over the tortilla evenly. Top with lettuce and shredded cheddar, tomatoes, grilled chicken sliced and bacon.
Carefully roll the tortilla tightly as it will be packed! Slice down the center and enjoy!
Can you meal prep this Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap?
Of course! Here are my best meal prep tips for this wrap:
I like to grill thinly sliced chicken breast and store them in the fridge for wraps and salads. This is one of the easiest meal prep short cuts. For this recipe I use this delicious Chipotle Ranch Grilled Chicken. I combine the marinade and pour in a ziplock bag over the thinly sliced chicken breast and marinate at least an hour up to overnight.
Grill for 4-5 minutes on each side over medium heat or until a meat thermometer reaches 165 degrees. Allow the meat to rest 5 minutes before slicing. This cooked grilled chicken will last up to 5 days in an airtight container in the fridge.
It is also very easy to bake several slices of bacon for easy meal prep. I line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place the uncooked bacon in a single layer. Cook for 6 minutes, flip then cook for 6 more minutes until crisp. Remove and place on paper towels to absorb the fat. Cooked bacon can be easily stored up to 5 days.
If you wish to assemble to wrap completely this will work for one day in advance, just leave the sauces off and put in small containers to dip whenever you are ready to eat. This prevents the wrap from getting too soggy.
