This is a true set it and forget it meal with just a few basic pantry staples you probably keep on hand! We just this chicken to have quick and easy chicken tacos loaded with fresh vegetables. However, it also makes delicious quesadillas or wraps! This will be a new family favorite!
What ingredients do you need for Slow Cooker Chicken Tacos?
My favorite part about this recipe is how a few basic ingredients are combined to make a super flavorful dish. You only need six ingredients to make this Slow Cooker Chicken:
- Chicken breast
- Dry Ranch seasoning
- Spices: Cumin, garlic powder
- Salsa verde
- Lime juice
How do you make Slow Cooker Chicken Tacos?
- Lightly spray a small 2 quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Add chicken breast
- Top with ranch seasoning, cumin, garlic powder, salsa verde and lime juice
- Place the lid on the slow cooker and cool on low for 8 hours or on high for 3-4
- Shred the chicken and place in warm crunchy or soft tortillas.
- Top with your favorite toppings including cheese, green onions, tomatoes, avocado, grilled corn and cilantro.
What should I serve with Chicken Tacos?
