How do you make a Steak and Cheese Wrap?
- In a large ziplock bag toss your steak strips with marinade and salt and pepper.
- Heat one tablespoon of butter and one tablespoon of olive oil over medium high heat. Place steak strips in skillet. Let the steak cook without stirring for 2-3 minutes to get a good color.
- Stir steak and cook 2-3 minutes more, remove from skillet and set aside.
- Heat the remaining one tablespoon of olive oil and add sliced bell pepper and onion. Let cook, stirring occasionally for approximately 5 minutes or until tender.
- Wipe skillet clean and reduce heat to medium. Spray skillet with cooking oil and heat tortillas one at a time just until lightly brown and easily flexible.
- Assemble by adding one slice of cheese, steak slices, bell peppers and onions on each tortilla, wrap tightly. Slice and serve.
What kind of steak should I use?
I suggest using sliced flank or top round steak for these wraps. The cuts of beef are tender and cook quickly making them perfect for a delicious steak and cheese wrap!

Can I make a Low Carb Steak and Cheese Wrap?
Absolutely! There are many different brands that offer low carb, high fiber tortillas that have between 4-6 net carbs each. If you are following a low carb or keto diet just look for one of these brands to enjoy this steak and cheese wraps and lots of others!
However, if you are looking for another option a lettuce wrap works great! You can follow the method used here to create a lettuce tortilla for an ultra low carb option.
These Keto Zucchini Tortillas are also a great option! These tortillas are grain free, and only have about one net carb each! They also reheat perfectly, which makes them great for keto meal prep.
